When I saw a nice-looking woman that I wanted to talk to, I either just froze up or… if I felt confident enough to approach, I quickly created awkward silence from not knowing what to say.
Until I met a mysterious Swedish "gangster" in one of the more upscale nightclubs on Eastside Manhattan, pretty much exactly one and a half years ago.
I was sitting in the bar on the second floor overlooking the massive dance floor filled with testosterone-filled New Yorkers and stunningly hot models.
With a Heineken in my hand I look over to my right and see two gorgeous blondes sitting quietly together looking out over the bar area.
In my head I was thinking…"Man oh man, those girls are going to be my warm up for the night"…"but let me just finish this beer first".
How the hell he managed to get let into the club in a bathrobe is still a mystery to me to this day…but anyway…
He calmly walks over to the table where the gorgeous blondes are sitting, sits his ass down and takes a sip out of one of their drinks.
I can’t hear what they’re saying…but what I can see is that, pretty quickly he gets their serious faces laughing.
A few minutes later he takes not one but both of their phone numbers, stands up…and starts walking towards the bar.
He comes up beside me, smiles at me, then calls for the female bartender by screaming his lungs out like a dying hyena in a flock of blood-thirsty lions.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to grasp what else he said since he started talking directly into her ear…all I managed to gather was that she agreed to join them later on…
At this point I couldn’t handle myself anymore. I started to recognize the seriousness of the situation.
"Hey man, how come you can be so calm and smooth with the ladies? You seem to have the best confidence I’ve ever seen"
After he said that, I got even more curious…I wanted to know how he managed to not have a single care in the world. Because honestly, he truly was the most "not give a fuck"-mentality guy I’ve ever seen.
And you know what? We spent a whole hour together discussing women and his mentality…and what he told me was so intense…so earth-shattering and so profound that…
And at the end of the night, I felt like I had literally been re-born. Awaken from a big sleep. Dug up from the grave.
Five years studying pickup and seduction, and I had never realized or been told anything like this Swedish guy, Tony Ruca, told me last year.
