Living With CPAP

Living With CPAPClick Image To Visit Site If you are one of the many people struggling with CPAP, you know that faithfully using your CPAP every night can be a huge challenge. Well, you’re not alone. Research shows that up to 50% of sleep apnea sufferers stop using their CPAP within 3 months.

It’s obvious why: wearing a mask and being hooked up to a machine while you’re asleep can feel unnatural, uncomfortable, and can even have side effects on your health.

But did you know that there are thousands of people who happily use their CPAP equipment night after night without any problems at all – and have eliminated their sleep apnea symptoms?

“What am I doing wrong?” you’re probably asking yourself. “Why can’t I come to grips with my CPAP?”

That would make sense if sleep apnea were a mild health condition. But the fact is, sleep apnea is NOT a health condition to be taken lightly.

It’s a fact: if left untreated, sleep apnea can KILL YOU eventually. And I’m not just talking about the much higher chance that you’ll be in a car crash if you have apnea (although that’s definitely a factor).

If you’re not yet convinced of how serious sleep apnea is, please take 2 minutes to watch this video by the Mayo Clinic:

According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, these are just some of the side effects of sleep apnea:

At this point I’m sure two things are crystal-clear in your mind: (1) if you leave your sleep apnea untreated, there will be dire health consequences in your life; and (2) CPAP… Read more…
