Believe me, I have been there. I have spent years not having a clue, following plans my friends were doing, making up my own BS programmes, reading the ‘next best thing’ on the internet trying to figure out what to do and where to go next. I have spent hundreds if not thousands of euro buying products online hoping to God that one of them will finally work and get me the body I knew I deserved.
I have been like most of you. I have been fat; once sporting the lovely nickname ‘Meaty Beatty’. At 9 years old I remember being referred to as ‘blimp’. Needless to say at 9 years old that’s difficult to cope with. It forced me to work hard, train hard and learn as much as possible about food, nutrition, fitness and health.
I have worked tirelessly to find the best way to eat to get the most from my workouts. Gaining muscle while losing fat is incredibly difficult if you don’t know how. I didn’t know how for years. I kept putting on muscle but I had to go to extreme lengths to lose fat.
For the past seven years I have tried and tested every nutrition tactic in the book. I have always wanted to have the coveted ripped muscular look. It never made sense to me when people in the know would say you can’t gain muscle and lose fat at the same time. I have always been thinking of ways to do it. Finally after eight years I have found the best way to gain muscle, lose fat and feel amazing while doing so. I have tried and tested it with others. The results have been nothing short of amazing. People are getting stronger, more muscular, and fitter all while getting leaner. Who would have thought?
All you have to do is look at CrossFit athletes to know that it is possible to gain muscle and lose fat at the same time.
